TOPEKS CAMPING CLUB MINUTES
Sunday February 27th, 2010

McFarland’s Restaurant - Topeka, Kansas

Opening:

President elect Elmer Burnett asked for motion to adjourn.

Jack Miller seconded the motion and the meeting was adjourned.

Meeting was called to order by President Elmer Burnett.

Genevieve Collins gave a short prayer.

Roll Call: Roll was called with 15 families present - no visitors.

Treasurer Report: $1,030.87 Checking
$  82.03 Petty Cash
$    25.00 Dues Collected
$1,139.84

Old Business: None

New Business :
Leonard Freeman made a motion to have single members pay half price for membership dues starting December 2011,

when the next dues are due. Seconded and passed

Bill Detherage made a motion that if a single member shows up with the same person more than twice, they pay full price.

Seconded and passed

President Elmer Burnett noted that some changes to the 2011 camping schedule are required.

The April campout at Melvern was scheduled for Easter weekend.
It has been changed to the weekend before - April 15th, 16th and 17th.

For the June Campout, the eating time and meal should be 1:30 p.m. (Lunch instead of Dinner),

so those who would like to can enjoy the Melvern Fair.

September Campout – It has been changed so A - M bring a side dish and N- Z bring desserts.

Doris Detherage made a motion to approve the revised schedule.
Seconded and approved.

Jamie Burnett thanked the club for all the cards when Tyler was born.

February birthdays and anniversaries were recongnized.

Motion was made and seconded to adjourn.

Crock Pot Dinner - Will eat at 5:30 pm

MAY 20 - 22 - 2011
Clinton Bloomington Area - Cedar Ridge
Hot Dog Roast - Will eat at 5:30 pm
A-M bring Desserts  N-Z bring a Side Dish

JUNE 24 - 26 - 2011
Melvern Outlet Loop B - will eat at 1:30 p.m. so those that would like to can attend the Melvern Fair
Hamburgers - Club will also provide Buns & Condiments
A - M bring a side dish   N- Z bring desserts

JULY 22 - 24 - 2011
Pomona Michigan Valley - Loop A
Taco Salad Feed - Will eat at 5:30 pm
Homemade Ice Cream - Those not making ice cream will bring a dessert

Clinton Bloomington Area - Cedar Ridge
Ribs - Club Provided ˆ Will eat at 5:30 pm
