TOPEKS CAMPING CLUB MINUTES
Sunday December 4th, 2010
 South Village Club House - Topeka, Kansas

Opening - President Russ Thomann called the December, 2010 meeting to

order, visitors were recognized and the October 2010 minutes were approved.

Roll Call - 23 families answered Roll Call.

Treasurer Report - Chuck reported we have  $411.95. This number does not

include the 2011 dues. Dues are $25.00 for 2011.

Announcements - The club thanked Jack & Sandy, Bill & Doris, and Fred & Bev for the hard work putting on the Christmas dinner.

The club also thanked Mila Thomann for baking the cookies.

Birthdays and Anniversaries recognized.

Mila read a note from the Remp's letting us know they were thinking of us while they are on a cruise - I'm sure it was a fleeting thought !!

The snow birds told of their winter plans: Macha's to Arizona, Johnson's to Texas, Detherage's to Texas, Betty Milburn to Florida, and I am sure Remp's are also in Texas.

Shannon Bower announced she was starting a new job with the Kansas Corporation Commission.

Russ Thomann thanked the club for putting up with him for last two years and thanked the officers for all they did over the past year.

Two new Topeks members have arrived:

Harrison Cove Seckar, son of Carrie and Dominic, arrived on December 28 at 2:39 PM. He weighed in at 8 pounds 15.5 ounces and was 19 3/4" long. Mother and baby are doing fine. See photo below.

Nick and Jamie Burnett are the proud parents of a baby boy. They have given him the name of Tyler James. He arrived on December 30, weighed in at 7 pounds 4 ounces and was 20 inches long. See photo below.

The club enjoyed opening the Christmas gifts and the Club again were very generous with their gifts for "Toys for Tots".

President Russ Thomann turned the meeting over to the 2011 President, Elmer Burnett. Elmer talked about the upcoming camping season.
